More about Basic Financial Management and Planning
Financial management refers to all matters relating to the finances of a business. Managing a business' finance requires planning, controlling, organizing and monitoring of a company's income and expenses.
This can be done by applying general management principles to the financial resources of the company. Being in this position, one has to be able to make decisions on the investment of funds, the application of surplus funds and estimation and determination of the company's financial position.
Being in financial management can be challenging as one has to manage the company's financial well-being. A company can do everything right, but if it does not make profits, it will eventually go bust.
